Over the past week Lorraine has been in Thailand visiting and working with animal health, welfare and conservation organisations to share knowledge and best practice to promote the highest standards of animal welfare. Firstly, Lorraine attended a meeting at the Soi Dog Foundation to share her experience and gain insight into animal welfare communication and fundraising. She then made her way to the Gibbon Rehabilitation Centre where she discussed the role of primate nutrition in rehabilitation animals, followed by a trip to Khok Kloi, where she worked with the Southern Thailand Elephant Foundation at their elephant veterinary hospital and facilitated a biodiversity monitoring program.
