Opticron is a UK-based, family-owned company established in 1970, specialising in high-quality, affordable optical instruments like binoculars, fieldscopes, and monoculars, that are often used for monitoring wildlife observation, birdwatching and general use.
Opticron has supported Wilder International by donating several pairs of binoculars to help us monitor and observe UK native wildlife, which will help us document populations of species within the nature reserves we help to manage. This data will then help inform conservation practices to ensure we are benefitting species, habitats and ecosystems as much as possible.
Through their generous donation we will also be distributing binoculars to some of our conservation project partners that will utilise this vital equipment with their conservation research of wildlife and behavioural monitoring of sanctuary animals to improve welfare.
