Wilder Founder, Lorraine Miller has been in Ostrava in the Czech Republic this week, discussing all things great ape health, care and welfare at the European Great Ape Taxon Advisory Group Mid-Year Meeting. These meetings occur twice a year to ensure all apes residing in EAZA accredited facilities are receiving the very best of care. Lively discussions with experts in the field of great ape management ensure EAZA zoos are creating sustainable and viable populations, whilst promoting the very best welfare outcomes possible.
