Wilder International director, Matyas Liptovszky, attended the EAZA Great Ape Taxon Advisory Group mid-year meeting in the Netherlands this week to discuss great ape health and contribute to a gorilla welfare assessment workshop. These meetings are vital to discuss issues surrounding great ape health in human care to ensure every ape is as healthy as possible to maximise their welfare.
