Six incredible volunteers from the Breedon group joined us at Diamond Jubilee Wood to remove and process degraded tree guards for recycling. In just under three hours the team removed over 800 tree guards. What a fantastic effort!
We were also honoured to have Cllr Andy Brown participating in the event, where he presented Wilder International with a cheque for £250 towards the cost of volunteer tools and equipment. Safety knives, loppers, PPE and other tools were purchased so that volunteers, like those form the Breedon group, can contribute to the health and preservation of our natural green spaces.
